Cancer patient talks about risk of asbestos exposure

A man stricken by a respiratory-related cancer is talking about the risk of being exposed to asbestos, according to an article of The News, reported on August 25.

Reports said Crookhorn resident 67-year-old Brian Cleal learned in 2008 that he is suffering from mesothelioma due to asbestos exposure. Cleal was reportedly exposed to the hazardous material due to his father’s job as a driller in a dockyard. Brian recounted that when he was young his father often came home with white dust all over his body. He was later diagnosed with mesothelioma.

Brian, who had experienced breathing and working difficulties since 2001, stated that his exposure to asbestos was detected through a CT scan. Cleal is currently working with Breath Easy and several lawyers to create awareness about the risks of asbestos exposure.

People unfortunately suffer serious health conditions after being exposed to asbestos. If you think your exposure was caused by negligent parties, a lawyer may possibly help you seek compensation. Learn more about your legal options from the lawyers of Williams Hart today by calling 800-781-3955.
