Possible asbestos contamination halted House session

The House side of the Capitol building was examined by specialists on July 10 due to possible asbestos contamination from an ongoing extraction in the area, USA Today reported.

Reports coming from officials said the area might have been exposed to asbestos during abatement around 2:00 a.m. Asbestos specialists who evaluated the area later announced that the area is safe. A session of the Republican House leaders was delayed by the asbestos incident for at least two hours. A media release stated that all operations in the area return to normal, although the East Grand Staircase and a third-floor room remained cordoned off temporarily.

The lawyers at Williams Kherkher work for people who have been exposed to deadly asbestos fibers caused by negligent parties. If you think you accidentally inhaled asbestos due to someone else’s negligence call us at 800-781-3955 to find out how we may help you press charges against them.
