Asbestos abatement firm MJ Environmental violated asbestos regulations on March 2012 in one of their projects at Bartlett Street in Pittsfield. Massachusetts Department of Environmental Protection (Mass DEP) has ordered MJ to settle for $10,000, with the remaining balance being suspended if the firm conforms to the state’s regulation for two years.
