A Florida man has named 53 companies in a lawsuit that was filed after he was diagnosed with the rare lung cancer, Mesothelioma.
According to the lawsuit that was filed last month, the man developed mesothelioma after working with asbestos or asbestos containing materials between the years of 1953 and 1982 while he was employed with Elk Refinery and Virginia Natural Gas.
The suit claims that the defendants were negligent and breached implied and expressed warranty. A few of the companies include 3M Company, Foster Wheeler Energy Corporation, Metropolitan Life Insurance Corporation, and Pennzoil Quaker State Company.
