In early March, local bands put on benefit concert at the Hard Rock Cafe in Pennsylvania in honor of a man who is fighting mesothelioma.
The man they were honoring is a huge 80s metal fan and the bands thought that it would be a great way to raise funds and awareness for the mesothelioma patient. The man was exposed to asbestos while in the U.S. Air Force in Panama and when he worked for Nabisco in a building that was closed for asbestos removal. The money made at the benefit is to help pay for medical and prescription costs.
