Harold St John filed a mesothelioma law suit against automaker Chrysler and brake manufacturer Honeywell before he died. St John likely developed mesothelioma while working on brake linings in his father's auto shop 40 to 50 years ago. Recently, the defendants in the case subpoenaed a tissue sample from the deceased.
Unfortunately, the court order was not issued until the day of St John's funeral. The process server waited for the funeral to end and served the order before interment, catching the family off guard. St John is currently still uninterred while his family fights the court order on the grounds that Chrysler has all the information it needs already.
